Computer Science Education Week  is December 9-15, 2013
This week is Computer Science Education Week and the linked site above has many fantastic opportunties to explore coding with students with teaching the Hour of Code in your classroom. Check out videos featuring Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Black Eyed Peas founder will.i.am and NBA star Chris Bosh sharing the importance of students learning programming.
